what is jalamudra, agnimudra and akasamudra?

Is there a method of pranayama where in we press the fingers with our thumb while performing pranayama. What is exact procedure of doing this type of pranayama and the specific advantages of doing it. I was told they are called as jalamudra, agnimudra, akasamudra etc.,
