Asana Sanskrit pronunciation Can't Post

I am extremely average when it comes to the Sanskrit pronunciation. So, I have put together a spreadsheet (attached in the class private area) that summaries numerous asanas and includes pronunciation tips (from yogajournal.com). fyi, I have posted the spreadsheet on the forum also.

You’ll find that the spreadsheet includes individual tabs for standing, forward bends, back bends, inversions, seated poses, reclining poses, and arm balances.

For each asanas you'll find a photo (linked to yogajournal.com), Sanskrit name, pronunciation guide, and english name.

Note: If you are online and click on the photo in the spreadsheet, you'll find that it will open the detailed description of the asanas at Yogajournal's website. At yogajournal's website they cover for each asana:
  • details on Benefits,
  • Contraindications/Cautions,
  • Step by Step instructions,
  • Modifications & Props,
  • Variations,
  • Preparatory Poses,
  • Subsequent Poses and
  • Beginners Tips.

Namaste,

Rod
