Hi Sue (and all who are querying the purple log sheets), The sheets are there to keep a log and record of your yoga practice over each month, be it asana, pranayama, meditation, core practice etc. They are there to show us that you have been doing regular practice of some kind. We would prefer that you are going to a studio, teacher or mentor so that you are being guided in some way, however if this is not possible in some weeks then your personal home practice is appropriate. Ideally if you are doing your home practice then it is recommended that you are practicing the core practice in order for you to become familiar with it and also refine it, as we prepare to progress forward throughout the year to level 2 and more advanced asana practice. Your own personal practice is also appropriate as long as you familiarise yourself with the foundations of the core practice which we would like you to be doing at least one to three times a week, in addition to your other practice. Now as Bonnie suggested you can enter all of your practices in the top section, and then at the end of the week tally how many of those were core practices and put them in the bottom section, with an overall reflection in the bottom section about how you feel you are progressing with the core practice. The top section is to record the details of each individual practices you are doing...if they are with a teacher we ask that you get them to sign it...if it is your own then put in personal practice or core practice pp, and you can leave the signature space blank. If it was an 8am core practice at the CAE, you add that onto the log sheet as a core practice CAE and get either myself or one of the other teachers to sign it, and then add that to your weeks tally in the bottom, hope this clarifies things for you...it you have any more queries please don't hesitate to contact me direct or ask via the forum, May this bring peace of mind and clarity, Love and Light to you all, Namaste, Andrew
