Monier-Williams Sanskrit-English Dictionary

This is a powerful searchable database, located at the University of Cologne in Germany. Very good Sanskrit-English translation dictionary on the Web.

At present, the digital version of of the Monier-Williams' Sanskrit-English Dictionary (1899) contains approximately 160,000 main entries.
First, you type in either an English or a Sanskrit term and get a list of entries where that term appears in the main dictionary.

Then, you select the specific terms from the list that you want to vies in detail.
