The Advanced Diploma of Health (Yoga) was the first nationally recognised yoga teacher training course offered in Queensland. This course is professionally delivered by Yoga Queensland under the direction of June Jackson, who has over 30 years of experience both in the practice and teaching of yoga.
The Advanced Diploma of Health (Yoga) will provide practical skills and related scientific and historic knowledge required to become competent and effective teacher and health care advisor in the field of Yoga.
Whilst firmly anchored in the classical heritage of Yoga, the course is based on a modern synthesis of the major paths and styles of Yoga, along with the integration of contemporary well-being practices. It is our aim to give participants a strong foundation on which to build their understanding, practice and teaching of Yoga.
