CAE in conjunction with the Australian Institute of Yoga Therapy is proud to offer the Advanced Diploma in Yoga Teaching, a nationally accredited vocational training course. The official web site is at: http://www.cae.edu.au/wellbeing/accredited_courses/acc_courses_dip_yoga.php The statement about the course from the official states: The course draws from the extensive classical and authentic traditions of Yoga, it has been developed to meet both the contemporary needs of yoga students/practioners as well as the professiona/vocational requirements of yoga teachers. Whilst the course draws from a number of paths, styles or traditions of yoga, the Advanced Diploma of Yoga Teaching does not purport to be of any particular path or style. Rather, its underlying approach or style can best be described as Contemporary Classical Yoga. It is designed to give participants: - A strong foundation on which to build their understanding, practice and teaching of yoga. - A high level of competency in all aspects of the teaching of yoga, underpinned by an exceptional understanding of the meaning and processes of yoga. - The requisite skills and professional standards to take their place as well-credentialed professionals in the fields of wellbeing and personal development. I am the first year of the course and so far are loving it. Attached you'll find a application form for the course. The course is booked for 2004. To register your interest for the 2005 intake, please email wellbeing@cae.eud.au or phone Jo Garofalo on 9652 0714.
