HELP - torn Ligaments!!! Can't Post

Hello to everybody.

please, I need your help with my three weeks old injury. I'm into ashtanga vinyasa style and was uncarefull while doing supta kurmasana...and what happened...aagh...partial ligaments torn around my breast bone, below my neck. Don't know how to explain precisely but while I was doing kurmasana and tried to push up I heard the unpleasant sound and than the pain occured. Later I treated the spot with Arnica ointment, onion compress, homeopathy...etc.
Now the condition is much better (wasn't able to breathe properly, not to mention smiling or blowing my noseSmile)
What I wanted to ask is can somebody give me the instructions when to start with ashtanga again and for how long to avoid my beloved SUPTA KURMASANA???
Any ideas why that happened to such a flexible body 'cause I'm also on a teaching training programe???
Thanks everyone in advance

Yours trully grateful yogini Tasha, Croatia
