Strength & Balance asanas Can't Post

The purpose of this thread is to discuss various strength and balance asanas and ideally for each explaining,
  1. Its fundamental principles
  2. The structural and functional physiology involved
  3. The Yogic or subtle physiology involved
  4. How it relates to other asanas in the group
  5. How it may be sequenced in a practice/class
  6. Variations according to needs and major pre-cautions and/or contra-indications.
  7. Main indications for adjustment.

Namaste,

Rod

Re: [Rod] Strength & Balance asanas [In reply to] Can't Post

I'd love to hear any tips to increase balance. It's the weakest aspect in my practice.

And I've heard the "bandha bandha bandha" and "practice practice practice" thing before all too many times, I'm already working on that and I'm looking for any OTHER tips and advice for balance.
