Twisting asanas Can't Post

The purpose of this thread is to discuss various twisting asanas and ideally for each explaining,
  1. Its fundamental principles
  2. The structural and functional physiology involved
  3. The Yogic or subtle physiology involved
  4. How it relates to other asanas in the group
  5. How it may be sequenced in a practice/class
  6. Variations according to needs and major pre-cautions and/or contra-indications.
  7. Main indications for adjustment.

Namaste,

Rod
