How To Make Money As A Yoga Instructor Can't Post

Hi guys,

I'd like to share with you completely free some ideas on how to significantly increase your income as yoga instructors, reduce the hours you work and get much higher quality clients.

Here's a little of my background...
I'm a marketing consultant and health writer.

I appear on 40 commercial radio stations across Australia talking about natural diet and lifestyle changes you can make to improve your health.

I'm one of the world's leading online copywriters and marketing consultants.

I'll be speaking very soon to a large group of yoga instructors in training helping them market their yoga businesses and this is why I'm looking for some feedback from a large group of yoga instructors and why I'm willing to give you high quality marketing information free.

I have two audio programs (not for sale)...
"19 Insider Marketing Secrets For Natural Health Professionals - how to make 2-10 times the income from your health practice working less hours" and

"17 FATAL Mistakes Nearly ALL Health Professionals Are Making And How You Can Turn Those Mistakes Into Real Cash Profits"

These are not for sale. That's NOT why I'm appearing on this forum.

I want to give you free high quality information tailored to your profession - yoga instruction.

Here's what I'd like.

Just answer one simple question for me and I'll give you the best feedback I can...

"What is your biggest challenge marketing yourself as a yoga instructor."

Is it finding new clients (or any clients) is it finding high quality clients, is it getting clients who will pay you what you're worth?

Are you wondering about how to advertise?

Just let me know on this forum and I'll give you the best, proven techniques and marketing expertise I know of to help you get beyond your problem.

Kindest regards,
Andrew Cavanagh

Re: [AndrewCavanagh] How To Make Money As A Yoga Instructor [In reply to] Can't Post

Hi Andrew,

I'm just starting out so it's getting new clients to sign-up. I've been posting bulletins on Craigslist which has brought in some prospects and I have a website up but not sure of the best way to drive people there. Any suggestions?

I'm located in California, 20 miles south of San Francisco.

Thanks!

The quickest way to get new clients in your studio is to ask for referrals from your exisiting clients.

To make that more appealing for them you can give them some kind of "gift" card that lets the people they refer come free.

Getting traffic to your website...

I'm one of the world's leading online copywriters and one of my clients is the world's leading expert at creating free website traffic.

It's just WAY too technical a subject to explain in one post but I do appreciate the question because I get it a LOT.

I'm currently working with the American Viniyoga Institute on their website.

You can pick up some great ideas just by copying some of the things I'm doing there (the home page is not my work and will be changed soon...

See this link for one powerful online marketing technique... Viniyoga

Focusing on referrals from your existing clients is the fastest way I know to get yourself more high quality clients.

I've put a few free audio lessons up for you including one of getting referrals at...
Yoga Marketing

I hope you find something there helpful.

Kindest regards,

Thank you so much for the advice, I find it very valuable. I'm definitely going to print up some sort of referral gift card. Thank you! I will keep you updated on the results.

Namaste,
Kristen

You're very welcome Kristen.

"First yoga class free" cards work well.

If you have particular classes that are slow you can even make them valid only for the slower classes.

If you want to get sophisticated you can even print up customized cards on your computer for a few of your really loyal students.

Give them a title like "Advanced student" or "Promtional assistant" on the card.

And add in something like this on the back of the card...

"This gift of your first class of yoga free has been given to you by our special student (or promotional assistant) Jill Brown. We choose our clients very carefully so you should take this gift as a sign of tremendous respect and reverance."

Or something along those lines.
